The Problem: Translating from German into English

The German Employment Reference is regulated by law and jurisdiction which are both largely unknown to non-native speakers of the German language.

For all intents and purposes, when translating an Employment Reference into English, the German reference philosophy ought to be translated as well.

The Solution

We do not translate texts into another language and culture, but rather images.

Meaning: we visualize! On the basis of our Employment References, the future reader forms an image of the job as well as of the employee’s personality, in the German and in the English version of the Employment Reference, in the text and between the lines.

The visualization, which is granted to the German reader through our descriptive and appreciative Employment References, is conveyed to the English native speaker in their own mother tongue and to anyone more fluent in the English language.

We achieve this, for example, by using intensifiers (always etc.) more carefully and by choosing characterizing terms instead. We also take into account the differences in sentence structure, stylistic elements, etc. in the two linguistic areas.
